Week 3 – Franklin Arts Center Chair Racing Championships.

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

The opportunity of 3-peating in professional sports is not an easy task. For the record, here is the short list of teams that have pulled it off going back to 1936. Only 14 teams have accomplished this year to year dominance going back well over 70 years now.

Let’s meet our competitors.
On the right meet the two-time champion Greg, a stained glass artist by day, a chair racing fiend by night.
On the left meet the number one challenger for the crown Doug, an architect by day, a chair racing rising star by night.

Will Greg 3-Peat, is the stress too much? Will Doug dethrone the early king of chair racing?

Only the following video will tell, do enjoy!

By the way, Dain is challenging the winner next week, should be worthy of attending in person. If you would like to reserve your chair race for an upcoming week, do call the official race scheduler at 218-454-3210 ext. 3.
