At times, blog posts can be cherished more if posted a few months after the event. This is just the case with the 1st Annual Ugly Sweater Day at RedHouseMedia. PreChristmas 2008, we dug deep into our closets and scoured the racks of the local shopperies in search of the canvas of clothing that would capture the title of Ugly Sweater 2008.

The championship trophy was awarded to none other than Dain Erickson, and his personal tribute to the colors of the 1970’s. Truly inspiring, memorable, and altogether itchy.
We look forward to the world-wide competition as we approach International Ugly Sweater Day 2009. If you would like to compete in next year’s competition, contact us to be included in the call for entries late 2009.
